Todd led the political risk management of some of the largest mining projects built in the 21st century. In doing so, he has built a deep understanding of the interconnections and dependencies among companies, governments, and the communities in which they operate, as well as what it takes to succeed.
At both Newmont Corporation and Fortescue, Todd led efforts to redirect each company's focus toward engagement with the US government as it began to recognize the importance of critical minerals to the future of national security and economic prosperity.
At Newmont, Todd also led government relations and communications strategies for two successful divestments in 2024: the $1B sale of the Akyem Mine (Ghana) to Zijin Mining, and the $450M sale of the Telfer/Havieron Mine (Australia) to Greatland Gold.

Most recently, Mitchell was Managing Director of Global Public Affairs at CPP Investments (the manager of the Canada Pension Plan), where he supported global transactions, portfolio management, and the Fund’s relationship with international institutions.
Mitchell was formerly Head of Government Relations for the Corporate and Investment Banking Divisions of Barclays and a key advisor to the global senior leadership team on political and corporate positioning and issues management. Earlier in his career, Diego worked on the campaign of the first Latina elected to the US Congress, as well as the historic 1990 Nicaraguan presidential election, which marked the first time in history that a communist regime was ousted at the ballot box.

Christoph is an experienced senior communications advisor and leader of communication departments in prestigious major international organizations. He has a proven track record in advising on highly critical and challenging mandates including cutting edge competitive campaigns, multi-party capital transactions and all sorts of special situations with material impact for the building and safeguarding of his client's reputation and public perception. In addition to that he has critical experience and expertise in leading and managing significant crisis situations, developing brands in highly challenging markets and representing bulge-bracket business organizations towards their stakeholders and beyond.
Before joining Stillpoint, Christoph was the Germany head of the International communications advisory Instinctif Partners. Before that he headed the Frankfurt office and the banking and financial PR practice at global communications advisory H/Advisors. Before moving into communications consulting Christoph was the Director of Communications at Citigroup in Frankfurt with oversight of Germany, Austria and the Nordics. Before joining Citigroup he was the Director of Communications at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for Germany and Austria. He joined BCG from US law firm Latham & Watkins where he was the Public Relations Manager for Germany. He once started his professional life as a markets reporter at Reuters in Frankfurt.
Christoph has very deep and broad networks of journalists and other relevant multiplicators through all editorial and publisher ranks as well as with relevant players and decision takers in the banking, investment and professional services communities in German speaking Europe and beyond. Christoph strongly believes in personal relationships and their relevance for building trust and reputation in business and professional life.
Christoph holds a master degree in political science of Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main, Germany and a sub-degree of Italian Language and Culture of Università per Stranieri in Perugia, Italy. He is a German native speaker, fluent in English, almost fluent in Italian and experienced in French.
