Before co-founding Stillpoint, Chris served as Head of U.S. Operations at Edelman Smithfield, where he founded and led the firm’s global AI advisory practice. He has counseled Fortune 100 companies, frontier research labs, global asset managers, and leading technology companies in complex, regulated environments where innovation, ethics, and reputation converge.
Chris also designs and delivers AI enablement programs focused on AI adoption, innovation readiness, and responsible technology use. His tailored sessions for senior leadership teams — from multinational corporations to major nonprofits — focus on turning AI literacy into real-world application and fostering cultures of confident, responsible experimentation.
A sought-after speaker and moderator, Chris has led strategy discussions and appeared at events including Reuters NEXT and Momentum AI, MIT Technology Review’s EmTech, and expert roundtables with Axios and The Economist. He began his career in policy and public affairs, holding senior roles at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and on Capitol Hill.
Chris holds an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence & Business Strategy from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
