Troy advises executives leading the transition of financial services to crypto rails. He has spent more than two decades in communications and brand marketing across institutional finance, government, and digital assets, with particular depth at the intersection of financial services, political advocacy, and blockchain technology.
Before joining Stillpoint, Troy held roles at the center of some of the highest-profile moments in both traditional finance and the emerging crypto ecosystem. At the U.S. Treasury Department, he was a voice behind the federal government's communications response to the 2008 financial crisis and the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). He went on to lead communications for Deutsche Bank's U.S. institutional brokerage division, where he also ran issues management, public affairs, and legal and regulatory communications, including directing the bank's response to several of its most high-profile and sensitive matters.
Troy moved into crypto and digital assets in 2021. Since then, he has led communications and marketing for centralized crypto neobank Nexo, decentralized internet capital markets launchpad pump.fun, and Sei Network, which focuses on onboarding institutional Wall Street participants to crypto.
Troy holds a Master of Arts in Applied Economics and a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
